We have all sorts of weird notions about beauty in this country. Beauty has been very narrowly defined. I am constantly telling a gorgeous bride about her beauty and having her push it away. How many of you know really beautiful people who are incredibly insecure about their beauty. And if they can't see their beauty, how are the rest of us mortals to get along?
But the fact is every one is beautiful. Everyone is brimful of beauty. It doesn't matter whether we fit into marketing's beauty values or not. Whether we're full bodied or differently abled, we're still beautiful people. And when we're in love, truly in love, we become even more beautiful. That's something to celebrate.
